The Woman Behind the Work
I'm Not Trying to Be Something I'm Not.
THE STORY THAT STARTED BEFORE I KNEW IT WAS A STORY
I grew up a military kid — moving around until my family discovered Pensacola, Florida on vacation and never really left. That's home. My children grew up there. My family is there. My husband Adrian and I are there now, with our two Australian Shepherds and more beach time than we probably deserve.
My parents shaped everything about how I think about health — even when I was too young to know it.
My mother used to move the coffee table in our living room and do her stretches on the floor. Every day. She cared about how she felt and how she showed up. That image stayed with me.
My dad went further. When I was about 15 he took me to my first 5K. That was it — I was hooked. The movement, the challenge, the feeling of doing something hard and finishing it. He gave me that.
He was also the man who taught me — you can do and be anything you ever want to be and if you don't do it right the first time (probably talking about chores!) then don't do it all — your mind, your boady every day is either an investment or a withdrawal. He made deposits his whole life.
And then I watched him get sick.
In the final year of my father's life the stress was overwhelming. I didn't know what to do with what I was feeling so I ran. Literally. I ran half marathons, marathons, 10Ks — race after race. Movement was how I processed grief before I had the science to explain why that worked.
My grandmother's story was different and in some ways harder. She lost herself to Alzheimer's. At the time nobody really understood what was happening — not the family, not the doctors, not my mother and her siblings who were watching their mother disappear. They did everything they could. Grandma was a devout Christian woman and she was surrounded by love in her final years. But the confusion, the helplessness, the not knowing — that stayed with me.
It planted a question I wouldn't stop asking for the rest of my life:
Does it have to be this way?
I Just Want to Live Well — and I Don't Want You to Go Through What I Went Through to Figure Out How.
THE ANSWER TOOK DECADES TO BUILD
I spent 30 plus years at the intersection of leadership, strategy, and human performance. I earned a PhD in Human Capital Development and a Master's in Health Communication Leadership. I led federal programs, ran organizations, sat on corporate boards, and built systems that served thousands of people.
I was good at understanding how complex systems break — and how to rebuild them.
Then my own system broke.
Right before COVID I lost my husband. I watched my son battle addiction. I faced a cancer scare. And after years of pouring everything into my career I was passed over for a promotion I had earned.
All of it. At once.
I was more than halfway through my life and I knew — in a way I hadn't let myself know before — that the choices I made right now would determine everything about the years I had left.
I went looking for answers. What I found was an industry full of anti-aging creams, 30-day challenges, and fear-based messaging that treated women in midlife as problems to be managed.
Nobody was asking the real question: what does the science actually say about protecting brain health and extending vitality for women in the second half of life — and why isn't anyone giving women a real roadmap?
So I built one.
WHAT I BUILT AND WHY
The Vitality Code Framework is an 8-key, science-backed system designed specifically for women 45–68. Not to help them feel younger. To help them think sharper, live longer, and arrive at 90 fully alive.
I call my life the Living Study. Every protocol I teach is something I do myself — tracked with real biometric data, grounded in peer-reviewed research, and refined over time. The HBOT. The fasting window. The WHOOP data. The supplements reviewed with my physician. The 8,500 daily steps. The weights three days a week. The hot tub at 104 degrees.
I share all of it because I spent too many years wishing someone had shared it with me.
I am not an elite athlete. I am not trying to be something I'm not. I know I'm getting older. But I love a challenge — and I believe that the challenges we set for ourselves as we age are part of what keeps the brain sharp and the spirit alive.
If someone asked me at dinner why I do this work I'd tell them exactly what I told you just now:
I've seen what happens when women don't have this information. I've lived some of it myself. And I know there's an answer — a full, healthy lifespan all the way into your 90s is possible. It's a mindset and it's consistency. What you put in your mouth, the movements you make, the way you protect your sleep and your brain — it all compounds. It all matters. And I couldn't keep that to myself.

WHO I AM OUTSIDE THE WORK
I live in Pensacola, Florida with my husband Adrian — we are both deeply physically active and take full advantage of the beaches, the weather, and everything this place has to offer. We love to travel. I am actively involved in the local art community. And our two Australian Shepherds keep us humble.
I am not a guru. I am not a before-and-after story. I am a woman in midlife who found the science, built the system, and is living it in real time — and who wakes up every day wanting to share it with women who are exactly where I was.
It's not too late. That is not a slogan. That is the science.
THE VISION
A world where women over 50 are seen, vital, and fully alive. Where midlife isn't a crisis — it's an awakening. Where brain health is a priority, not an afterthought. Where every woman knows her body has a code — and has the keys to unlock it.
THE MISSION
To equip women 45–68 with the science-backed strategies, community, and tools they need to reclaim their brain health, their vitality, and who they're becoming — fully, fearlessly, and without apology.
You don't have to figure this out alone. Start with three minutes and a free assessment.
